Positive Capacity is dedicated to empowering nonprofit organizations through comprehensive capacity development solutions. We offer a range of specialized services tailored to each organization's unique needs.

Our core services include capacity development interventions designed to increase or develop nonprofit capacities. We work collaboratively with our clients to assess their current needs and develop customized strategies for growth and sustainability.

One key element of our service portfolio is the provision of clinical supervision support to guide organizational effectiveness and promote best practices in service delivery.

We provide technical assistance to social work practicum directors, offering support and resources to strengthen the sustainability of their programs.

We offer a comprehensive toolkit for self-assessing capacity to further support our clients on their capacity-building initiatives. This toolkit equips organizations with the tools, templates, and resources needed to conduct thorough assessments, identify areas of strength and opportunity, and develop actionable plans for improvement.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Over the span of the past 27 years as a Director of MSW Field Education programs, Dr. Froylana Heredia Miller, DSW, MSW, LCSW has cultivated hundreds of relationships with numerous community-based social service organizations, serving as essential partners in providing internships for MSW Interns. Central to her role is the provision of technical assistance and training to these community partners, aimed at enhancing their capacity to deliver effective social work services through internship programs.She offers strategic guidance and support to our partnering agencies, assisting them in bolstering their organizational infrastructure through capacity-building and evaluation initiatives. This involves collaborative efforts in policy development and the establishment of essential frameworks to optimize their service delivery mechanisms.
